Heel file for preliminary care—for a rough shave of your heels’ tough surface skin
A heel file for preliminary care, for those who are filing their heels for the very first time, or whose heels have extremely hard surface skin. Doing a rough shave of the heels before applying the Heel Remover allows the Heel Remover to better penetrate your heels’ outer skin layer.
* If your heel skin is not hard, shave the surface lightly with the Heel File.
HOW TO USE
- On dry heels, file in a circular manner to create roughness on the surface of the hardened skin.
After creating a rough surface, remove unwanted dead skin using the Heel Remover and Foot Smoother(both sold separately).
* This product can also be used on other parts of the feet with rough surfaces such as the toes and soles.
* This product can also be used on wet heels, but be sure to finish up by using the Heel Remover and Foot Smoother to shave off any dead skin on the heels.

Care and Cleaning
Caring for the Heel File
- After use, rinse off the dead skin left lodged into the file using a brush or some other tool.
- If used by wetting the file, rinse it off right away, as the dead skin lodged into the file will be difficult to remove after it dries.
- Do not scrub the file surface too hard when cleaning, as doing so could cause damage. -
Usage Notes
Using the Heel File after applying the Heel Remover will cause dead skin to get lodged and clog the file. Be sure to rinse it immediately after use.
- the Heel File is designed for extremely hardened skin and calluses. Do not use for any other purposes.
- the File surface of the Heel File is very rough. Always cover it with the lid before holding it, as it could cause injury to the hand.
- Use the appropriate file surface depending on your heel skin’s hardness. The surface with a flower mark on it has a finer grain.- Filing excessively may cause injury so please exercise caution.
- The results vary depending on the person. If the hardened skin or calluses cannot be removed on the first try, file a small amount at a time over multiple attempts.
- Do not use the file on areas of the skin with any cuts or bruises.
- If skin shows any abnormal reactions during use, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist. -
Handling Notes
When the Heel File gets wet, remove excess water and let it dry.
Be careful not to let the File come in contact with a bath tub or other bathing room fixtures as it could cause scratches.
